Minestrone Soup

4 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. of the following:
- corrot
- celery
- onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. of the following:
- basil
- thyme
- oregano (crushed)
1/8 tsp. pepper

1 can (15oz) red kidney beans
1 can (15oz) diced tomatoes

1/2 c. cabbage
1/2 c. pasta shells (small)


Combine broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, basil, thyme, oregano, and pepper in pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer 1 hour

Drain kidney beans and tomatoes then add to pot. Also add the cabbage and pasta. Return to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the shells are soft.
