3 large egg whites
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 c sliced almonds
Beat egg whites and tartar with mixer until stiff peaks form, add sugar 2 Tbsp at a time with mixer. Then add cocoa and vanilla. Fold in almonds
Place on a greased sheet and bake at 325 until they brown slightly
