Put the vaseline into a saucepan with as many elderfowers (not the thick stems) as can be possibly pressed into it. Allow to simmer (NOT BOIL) for 1/2 to 3/4 hour. While very hot, be very careful and strain through a piece of muslin into small pots.
It is ready for use as soon as it get cold.
This is good for heat lumps, bites, chapped or rough hands.
