Linda's Chicken Parmigiana Burger (old Weight Watchers Recipe)

Fast and easy Italian style chicken parmigiana dish

Boneless chicken breasts (3-4), Kraft slices of mozzerella cheese, can of Hunt's tomato paste, can of tomato or spaghetti sauce, 2 cans of Campbells chicken broth, large kaiser buns, 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of basil.


Pour the 2 cans of Campbells chicken broth into a large frying pan, then place chicken breasts in the pan and sautee' or cook on medium heat until thoroughly cooked, flipping them on occasion for even cooking. Cook for at least 20 minutes until they look done.
Pour the tomato sauce or spaghtetti sauce into a small sauce pan, then add the tomato paste, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and basil. Mix thouroughly, simmer on low heat.
When chicken breasts look thoroughly cooked, place them on the kaiser buns, and top with a slice of mozzerella cheese. Using a tablespoon or wooden spoon, spoon the tomato sauce mixture onto the chicken breasts, top with lettuce and a slice ot tomato if desired.
Serve with a side salad or Caesar salad, and french fries.
Very filling, and my hubby, who's not a big chicken fan even loves it!
