spinach/chickpea toss

a quick spinach & chickpea dish that can be served as a side or by itself. easy to make and improove upon with you own tastes.

1 package of frozen spinach (or it's fresh equivalent)
1 can of chickpeas
1/2 a medium sized onion (chopped)
3 clove of garlic (thinly sliced)
olive oil
black pepper


1) heat up pan in low to medium heat
2) put in garlic & onions
3) when garlic browns add spinach and salt to sweat (remove moisture- don't put on high heat)
4) add chickpeas (after about 7-10 min)
5) add olive oil and pepper
6) toss and serve.
