100g/3 1/2 oz butter, melted plus 1-2 teaspoons extra for oiling
125g/4 oz digestive biscuit crumbs
175g/6oz chocolate chips
75g/3oz shredded or desiccated coconut
125g/4oz chopped mixed nuts
400g can sweetened condensed milk
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas Mark 4, 10 minutes before baking. Generously butter a 23cm/9 inch square tin and line with non-stick baking paper.
Pour the butter into the prepared tin and sprinkle the biscuit crumbs over in an even layer. Add the chocolate chips, coconut and nuts in even layers and drizzle over the condensed milk.
Transfer the tin to the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, until golden brown. Allowto cool in the tin, then cut into 12 squares and serve.
