Cheesy Beefburgers

These can be made the night before, and put in a sandwich box with greaseproof paper between.

Serves: Makes 24


4 medium onions
4lb. (1.80kg) lean minced beef
4oz (100g) butter
8tblsp. chopped fresh parsley
12tbsp. brown sauce
8oz. (225g) grated Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
24 burger buns


First melt the butter in a pan then fry the onions gently for 5 minutes

Transfer to a bowl and mix in the remaining ingredients

Divide into 24 and shape into burgers

cook on a well heated barbecue for 15 minutes
