Banana Bread

Serves: 1 Loaf


1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. (about 3 med.) very ripe bananas, mashed
1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream butter or margarine and sugar together.
Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until smooth.
Add mashed bananas and blend.

Sift flour with baking soda, baking powder and salt in a second bowl.

Add to banana mixture, stiring only to moisten.

Bake for 1 hour or unitl done.
