2 sticks of softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1/2 bag of semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Grease 2 baking sheets unless they are non-stick.
In a small bowl sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside.
In a large bowl combine the softened butter and both sugars until creamy.
Add the vanilla extract and eggs and stir until combined.
Slowly mix in the flour.
Once all the flour is added, stir in your chocolate chips.
Spoon teaspoon sized portions of dough on to the cookie sheets.
Bake in the oven 8-11 minutes or until golden brown.
