Preparation time: 3 hours
Cooking time: 4 - 6 hours
Beef (none fat): 1 pound.
Honey garlic sauce: 150 ml.
Salt: 2 table spoon.
Black pepper powder: 2 table spoon.
Seasoning salt: 2 table spoon.
Sugar: 1 table spoon.
Cumin seed: 1 1/2 table spoon.
First of all, we need to break up all the cumin seed, so we put all the cumin seed into a bowl. Use a meat hammer or the handle of your knife to gentlly give the seed pressure just to break it up. U don't need to transform it into powder. Set it aside to be used in the cooking.
Second, wash the beef and set it in a bowl. Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes. Make it dry mostly. After, cut the beef to the size you like it( just need to make sure it is 5 mm thick) and put it in a marinate bowl add 50 ml honey garlic sauce, 1 table spoon salt, 1 table spoon black pepper powder, 1 table spoon seasoning salt, 1/2 table spoon sugar and 1/2 table spoon cumin seed crumb into with the beef to marinate it (do not forget to mix it up) in the fridge for 2 hours.
Pre-heat the oven to 175 F(80 C)and heat a baking pan with one level of tinfoil sheet on it. Heat a frying pan with high heat. Lay the marinated beef on the (hot)pan quickly. Pan fries the beef to the stage that the beef have no more blood comes out from it. Quickly season the pre-heated baking pan with half the seasoning ingredients that you have left(Honey gralic sauce need to be put in the tray evenly) and lay all the beef onto the pan and season the beef with the rest of the seasoning ingredients put it back to the oven with no cover. Close the oven door and wait for 2 hours(3 hours is the Ideal time, but I couldn't wait that long for it so I turn my oven on to 200 F 100 C for 2 hours), take it out and filp all the beef around put it back to the oven for another 2 hours(3 hours if you turn your oven to 175 F 80 C).
You should have the Honey Garlic Beef Jerky ready to eat or serve(I love beef jerky so I made it just for my wife and me haha).
