Banana Flapjack

A yummy flapjack and an ideal way of using up ripe bananas

Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 25 mins


Dietary guidance: v 


6 oz. butter
5 oz brown sugar
8 oz rolled oats (ie ordinary porridge oats)
2 small/ 1 large banana, mashed
4 oz raisins (or chopped dates)


Melt the butter in a big pan. Take it off the heat and mix in all the other ingredients (oats last). Then pour into a baking tray and cook for 20-25 mins in a pre-heated oven, Gas 7, 220 c. Easy eh? Enjoy!
