Beef Stroganoff

My mom used to make this when I was a kid. It reminds me of cold winter nights and warm food. I'm going to put the Campbell soup recipe that I use when I'm lazy because honestly it is good and creamy.

Preparation time: 5 min
Cooking time: 20 min

Serves: 4


1 pound of beef 3/4 inch think cut into strips
2 tablespoons oil
1 medium onion choppd
1 cup mushrooms sliced
1 can of Campbells cream of mushroom soup
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup of sour cream or plain yogurt


1) Heat 1 tablespoon oil in skillet. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove beef.
2) Add remaining oil. Add onion and mushrooms and cook until tender.
3) Add soup and paprika. Bring to a boil. Stir in sour cream and beef. Heat through. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
4) Serve with rice or egg noodles.
