My pup's favourite summer treat.

Cooking time: 2 hours in freezer

Serves: 12 cubes per tray

6 cherries, pitted and cut in half
6 raspberries, cut in half
6 mini carrots, cut in half
small handful of plain trail mix (make sure to eat/throw out the raisins - dogs aren't supposed to eat them) - peanuts, cashews, walnuts, dried cranberries and seeds work well

Divide "treasures" up in into twelve groups, and plop into an empty ice cube tray, making sure that some of the "treasures" stick out above the tray.

Cover with filtered water and freeze.

My puppy adores having one or two of these on a hot afternoon. They're refreshing, and there's the extra incentive of the fruit and nuts inside.
