Difficulty: Easy - for beginners

¼ cup margarine or butter, melted

2½ teaspoons Lea & Perrins worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons Tabasco brand pepper sauce [you can add more to suit your taste; I use 8-10 teaspoons]

1¼ teaspoons Lawry's seasoned salt

8 cups of your favorite Chex brand cereals (corn, rice &/or wheat) [I use Crispix cereal]

1 cup mixed nuts or peanuts

1 cup pretzels

1 cup bite-size cheese crackers

Preheat oven to 250°.

Combine margarine, Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce and seasoned salt; mix well. Pour cereals, nuts, pretzels and cheese crackers into large Glad-lock zipper bag. [If you do not have a large zipper bag you can use a heavy duty large paper grocery sack]

Pour margarine mixture over cereal mixture inside Glad-lock zipper bag. Seal top of bag securely. Shake bag until all pieces are evenly coated.
Pour contents of bag into open roasting pan. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool. Store in airtight container.

Makes approximately 11 cups.
