Breakfast Sausage Pizza

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


4 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided in half

2 tablespoons flour

1/3 cup milk

6 eggs, beaten

1 12 inch pizza crust

1 pound breakfast sausage

1 cup shredded colby cheese

1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese


Preheat oven to 400°

cook, crumble and drain sausage; set aside

melt 2 tablespoons butter in small saucepan; add flour; stir in milk; cook until mixture thickens; set aside

melt remaining butter in medium skillet; softly scramble the eggs; stir in milk sauce

place pizza crust on pizza pan; spread egg mixture over crust; layer sausage over the egg mixture; top with shredded cheese

Bake 15 minutes or until cheese is melted in 400° oven
