Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Casserole

8 eggs

2 c. milk

6 slices buttered bread (cubed into 1/2 inch size)

1 c. sharp cheddar cheese

1 lb. hot/spicy sausage, cooked in skillet, drained

1 t. salt

1 t. mustard


Grease 9 x 13 inch casserole dish, arrange bread and butter cubes.

Beat eggs and milk together in large bowl, add all other ingredients, and mix well. Pour mixture over bread cubes in casserole dish. Refrigerate 12 hours.

Bake approximately 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

This can be frozen in smaller containers after being cooked. To microwave, place casserole slices (approximately 4 by 4 inches) on a microwave proof plate/dish, at 1/2 power for 3 minutes.
