Mexican Steak

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 pound round steak
dab of cooking oil
1 - 8 oz. jar of Picante sauce
3/4 cup tomato juice
flour tortillas
lettuce, chopped
tomatoes, chopped
cheese, grated

(also good substituting chicken for the round steak)


Cut steak into bite size pieces and brown in a dab of cooking oil. Drain fat andstir in picante sauce and tomato juice. Simmer until the juice is desired consistency. Serve on flour tortillas with chopped lettuce, tomato and grated cheese.
