1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp. chocolate extract (optional)
2 egg whites or 1/2 cup egg beaters
3 c. quick-cooking oats
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
- Heat oven to 250
- Mix sugar, margarine, yogurt, water, vanilla, chocolate extract, and egg whites in large bowl
- Stir in remaining ingredients
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet
- bake 9-11 minutes, until almost no indentation when touched
** dough may seem runny, but oats and cocoa will absorb the excess moisture**
