BaconWrapped Hoisin-Ginger Salmon

This recipe was taken from the food network site. I tried it and it was pretty easy to prepare and tasted pretty good! its sort of a sweet sauce. I made very small changes to the reciepe tho. Also note that the reciepe is still good without the bacon.

• 4 x - 5 Boneless-Skinless Salmon Filets (Approximately 6 oz / 170 g Each)
• 8 x - 10 Bacon Strips
• 1/3 cup Hoisin Sauce
• 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
• 2 Tbsps Soy Sauce
• 2 Tbsps Rice Vinegar
• 2 Tbsps Ketchup
• 1 tbsp Prepared Garlic (In a jar)
• 1 tbsp Prepared Ginger (In a jar)


1.Take out equipment and ingredients.
2.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
3.Wash salmon under cold water and pat dry with paper towel.
4.Wrap each filet with 2 strips of bacon and secure with toothpicks.
5. Combine hoisin sauce, maple syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ketchup, garlic, and ginger together in a small bowl.
6. Place salmon on pan and cover the prepared sauce.
8.Place in preheated oven and set timer for 15 minutes.
