Mapo Tofu

Serves: 4-5


- Oil, 2 tablespoon
- Garlic (Minced), 2-3 teaspoon
- Mince Pork/Beef, 300 gram
- Firm Tofu, 500 gram (cubed 1cmx1cm)
- Shallots, 2-3 sticks
- Chilli Bean Sauce/Paste, 3-4 Tablespoon
- Corn Starch, 3 teaspoon
- Chilli Powder (Optional)


- Heat oil in pan and stir the garlic until a little bit brown
- Cook the mince until half cook
- Add the chilli bean paste
- When the mince is cooked, add the tofu
- Add the shallots
- Mix corn starch and half cup of water
- pour the corn starch and quickly stir to let the soup thickened
- Add salt if not salty and add chilli powder if you like hot to taste
- Serve with hot steamed rice
