1 turkey leg
3/4 cup rice
1/2 can carrots
1/2 can spinach
1/2 can corn
base or bouillon (I use either Roasted Vegetable Base or Better Than Bouillon)
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup frozen or diced onions
Paul Prudhomme's Poultry Magic, Bay Seasoning, or other poultry seasoning mixture
Put turkey leg in microwave rice steamer with a little water and nuke for 20 minutes on power level 6
Add other ingredients, then fill almost to top with water (leave about 2 inches)
Nuke for 15 minutes on high power
Replenish any lost water and stir
Nuke for another 15 minutes on high.
It tastes better the longer it sits, so sometimes I make it at breakfast, freeze half, and warm some up for lunch.
