Bake a pie shell. Cool.
Place the 3/4 quart whole, unsliced fresh strawberries in the cooled pie shell
In a saucepan mix 1 cup strawberries with 1 cup sugar over medium heat. Slightly mash the strawberries once they're hot.Add 1 tbsp cornstarch and heat and boil til transparent.
Pour into the pie shell, over the whole strawberries
Chill till firm
