Chili's Fajita Marinade

This marinade is the best fajita marinade but also makes a great marinade for pork chops or chicken breasts to throw on the grill.

1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/3 cup water
2 tbsp oil (I use canola)
2 large cloves garlic, pressed
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder


Combine all ingredients in small bowl. Marinade meat for at least 2 hours; if using top sirloin, marinade overnight. Makes enough marinade for 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves or 1 lb top sirloin or a combination of both.
