1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ripe bananas
3/4 cups white sugar
1/3 cup butter - melted
1 bag of Emerald Glazed Walnuts (or whatever or however many walnuts you want to use)
Preheat oven to 325
Grease and flour bread pan.
Mix by hand with a spoon flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
In a big bowl, mix with a mixer, the bananas, sugar, egg, and melted butter.
Slowly add in the dry ingredients.
When mixed good, then use a wooden spoon to mix in the walnuts and any spices you may want to use - i just shake in some cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, ground ginger.
Bake for 1 hour - test with toothpick for doneness
Melt some additional butter and drizzle it over the top of the bread while it is still in the pan. Transfer from pan after it has cooled.
