Fresh Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Chips

Tasty combination of fresh fruit and sweet chips, perfect either as a snack or an appetizer.

Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
Serves: 6-8


2 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
1 pound strawberries, cleaned and diced
2 golden delicious apples, peeled and diced (prepare these last to prevent browning)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp fruit jelly (apple jelly works especially well if you can find it)
1 package 6-8" flour tortillas
sugar, to taste
cinnamon, to taste
cooking spray


Mix fruit, 2 tbsp sugar sugar, brown sugar and fruit jelly together in a large bowl, store in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Slice each tortilla into 8 wedges. Spray lightly with cooking spray, dip in sugar and then cinnamon to coat, and arrange on a cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned, then remove and cool.

Serve chips and salsa together.
