Meatloaf:
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 cup fresh bread crumbs or 5 to 6 slices wet bread torn into small pieces
1 onion finely chopped
1/2 can tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1/4 tsp pepper
Topping:
1 1/2 cans tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp mustard
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
Mix all the ingredients for meatloaf together and shape into a loaf. Mix the ingredients for the Topping together and pour over loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Baste the loaf every 15 minutes with the sauce.
