â€¢ 2 tablespoons butter
â€¢ 4 teaspoons flour
â€¢ ½ cup water
â€¢ 2 tablespoons white wine
â€¢ 1 cup Shredded Swiss
â€¢ 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Jack
â€¢ 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
â€¢ ¼ teaspoon paprika
â€¢ 1 6 oz can of lump crabmeat
â€¢ Sliced Baguette
â€¢ Melt butter over medium-low heat, add flour, cook and stir until bubbly, approximately 2 minutes.
â€¢ Gradually add water and wine, stirring until smooth.
â€¢ Reduce heat to low, gradually add all of the swiss and half of the cheddar, stir constantly until melted.
â€¢ Stir in mustard, paprika and crab, cook 2-3 minutes.
â€¢ Place bread on an ungreased cookie sheet. Top each with approximately two tablespoons cheese/crab mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar.
â€¢ Broil in oven, 4-6 inches from heat for one minute or until bubbly and slightly brown.
