Sausage Au Gratin Potato Bake

Au gratin potatoes with veggies and smoked sausage.

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
Serves: 4


1 TBS vegetable oil
1 pound smoked sausage link
1 box au gratin potato mix
2 ½ cups water
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 (16 oz) bag frozen California blend veggies
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Heat oil in skillet over medium high heat. Cook smoked sausage in oil, about five minutes. Stir in potatoes, sauce mix, pepper, and water. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and cook for about ten minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in veggies. Cover and simmer about ten minutes or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve immediately.
