Coffee Cake

1/2 C Shortening
1 C Sugar
2 Eggs
1 C Sour Cream (mix 3/4 C milk and 1/4 C vinegar -let sit 5 minutes)
1 tsp vanilla
2 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 C chopped pecans
2 tsp cinnamon


Mix all ingredients except for topping. In a separate bowl mix topping. Pour half of batter into a greased 8" pan. Sprinkle on half of the topping. Repeat the layers. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
