Sauted Swiss Chard with Pine Nuts (w/pasta as main dish)

This is a vegetable side dish. Very easy to make!! And if you add it to a package of bowtie pasta, smoked bacon and parmesean cheese, can be a main dish. Very yummy!!

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10-15 minutes

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
Serves: 4


1 large bunch of Swiss Chard
1/4 cup of pine nuts or so
About a couple of tablespoons of olive oil
1 small onion
2 cloves of garlic


Saute the onion and pine nuts in olive oil until onion is soft/translucent and pine nuts are lightly brown. Add garlic and saute for a minute or so (don't overcook). Add chopped swiss chard and cooked until wilted. Serve as side or add to bowtie pasta with some smoked bacon and parmesean cheese as a main dish.
