Basic Chilli

This is one of my staple meals at the moment and can be used as the basis for many a fine and tasty meal

800g Beef Mince
1 Red Onion (Chopped)
1 Scotch Bonnet Chilli (Chopped)
5 Birds-eye Chillies (Chopped)
1 Cherry Bomb Chilli (Chopped)
4 Cloves of Garlic (Crushed)
2 Large Flat Mushrooms (Chopped)
2 Tins Heinz Mean Beanz (Mexican)
Tomato Ketchup
Branston Hot Chilli & Jalapeno Relish
2 Handfulls Mature Cheddar (Grated)


* Dry fry mince in a large pan, til browned
* Add Chillies and Garlic and fry in beef juices
* Add Onion and Mushrooms, cook until mushrooms change colour
* Add Beanz, a good squirt of Ketchup & a dollop of Relish (to taste)
* Stir in Cheese and simmer for 5mins

The longer you cook this for, the better it will taste and like Stew, Soup or Scouse tastes much better (and gets hotter) after being left overnight to steep
