Chilli Lasagne

Another great use-up for leftover Chilli

Leftover Chilli (Basic/Sweet/Smoky BBQ, see my other recipes) Bolognaise also works well
Lasagne Sheets (Dried)
Knob of Butter
1 Heaped Tbsp Plain Flour
1 Pint Milk (or Cream if you're going all out ;))
3 Big Handfuls Mature Cheddar (Grated)


Cheese Sauce (Roux method):
* Melt butter on a low heat
* Add flour and make a paste
* Stir in milk a little at a time so as to avoid lumps
* Simmer gently until sauce thickens, then add 2/3 of the cheese

* Layer up your Lasagne, 1 layer Chilli, then 1 layer Chilli & Cheese Sauce until the dish is full
* Sprinkle the final handful of cheese over the top
* Cook in a hot oven (check lasagne packet for temp) for an hour, it's done when a skewer passes cleanly through the layers of pasta to the bottom of the dish
