Sinfull Chicken Kabobs

My entry for Dr. Gonzo's Ubiquitous Meat on a Stick Xtreme Grilling competition- chicken kabobs basted with Hoisin and Dr. GONZO's Kamehameha Mash . Hoisinful chicken. dripping with sin.

For a simpler version, just forget about the marinade. It still tastes great with just the basting sauce.
The Hoisin sauce that comes in a jar almost always has tons of MSG. You can substitute almost any sugary sauce like Terriaki or Barbeque sauce and it still warms you up.

2 lbs skinless, boneless Chicken breasts cut into 1 inch cubes
7 oz Hoisin Sauce (available in most large grocey stores or oriental market)
1/2 jarDr. GONZO's Kamehameha Mash
2 cups orange juice
juice from 2 fresh limes
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp Dr Gonzo's Garlic Mash
salt and pepper to taste
12 oz cherry or grape tomatoes
one large Vidallia onion cut into sekwer sized chunks
one large green bell pepper cut into skewer sized chunks
one large red bell pepper cut into skewer sized chunks


combine orange juice, lime juice, soy sauce, olive oil, Dr Gonzo's Garlic Mash, salt and pepper

Basting Sauce
combine Hoisin Sauce, Dr. GONZO's Kamehameha Mash , sesame oil

put all the meat and veggies on skewers (if you use wooden skewers you may want to soak them for at least an hour to keep them from burniing on the grill)

marinate for at least two hours...overnite is best

cook on medium heat on the grill; baste with basting sauce before and after turning....don't put it on to soon or it may just burn up.

how much basting sauce do you put on?....till the chicken drips with sin!
