1 package Jennie-O Turkey Loaf with Gravy
2 packets Turkey Gravy
1/4 cup flour
1 cup cold water
1 package Cornbread Stuffing
1/4 cup butter (you can use margarine but butter is better)
1 can Green Giant Whole Kernel Sweet Corn
This is a VERY time consuming recipe .... the last 20 minutes anyways.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove tray from package but leave the top in place. Place on cookie sheet in the center of the oven. Cook for 2 hours and 10 minutes.
Relax, you're feet might hurt after the rest of it. Well, mine probably wouldn't if I didn't go around the house barefoot!
With 20 minutes left, start making the gravy. Combine gravy mix and flour and blend until everything looks the same color. Add 1 cup cold water and blend until all the chunks are gone. Cook over low heat, stirring and scraping constantly. It's going to turn into a thick paste, that's what you're looking for.
Prepare stuffing as directed on box.
I cook my veggies on the stove in a small pot, now's a good time to start the corn on medium-low.
When turkey is done, carefully remove the top. It's a little difficult but if you can peel back two sides you can use a fork to lift. Remove turkey loaf from pan and slice into servings.
Pour ruminates into measuring cup, there may be a lot of fat that will need to be removed. Add 1 cup to gravy and stir. If gravy is too runny, heat longer. If gravy is too thick add 1/4 cup water.
Serve and enjoy being stuffed!
