These are soooo good...and relatively healthy, too.

Cooking time:

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners

For Sauce:
1 t sesame oil
2 T soy sauce
2 T rice wine vinegar
1/2 T Sriracha hot chile sauce

For Wraps:
16 iceberg lettuce leaves
1 lb lean ground chicken/turkey
1 t cooking oil (I use olive oil)
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 T soy sauce
1/4 c hoisin sauce
1/4 t ground ginger
1 T rice wine vinegar
1 1/2 t Sriracha hot chile sauce
1 8 oz can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 t sesame oil

For Sauce:
Combine ingredients.

For Wraps:
Rinse lettuce leaves and pat dry, being careful not to tear them. Set aside. In skillet over high heat, brown meat in oil, stirring often and reducing heat to medium, if necessary. Drain, and set aside to cool. In same pan, cook onion, stirring frequently. Add garlic, soy sauce, hoisin, ginger, vinegar, and chile sauce to the onions, and stir. Stir in water chestnuts, green onions, and sesame oil, and cook until the onions just begin to wilt, about two minutes. Serve meat mixture on lettuce leaves, adding sauce to taste. Wrap the lettuce like a burrito. Enjoy!
