Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes
1 (12 oz.) package of the pasta that you want to use
1/2 lb. bulk of Italian sausage, cooked, and drained or you can use a cans worth of fried cubed spam
1 (26 oz.) jar pasta sauce, any flavor
2 cups (8 oz.) of shredded mozzarella cheese
Chopped parsley (optional)
Cook shells as package directs; drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine cooked pasta, cooked meat, sauce, and 1 cup of cheese; mix well. Turn into lightly greased 2 1/2-quart shallow baking dish; cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes of until hot and bubbly. Uncover; top with remaining 1 cup of cheese and parsley. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
Why you should cover with foil?
A: Or the pasta will get all dry and hard to eat.
Why should the last remaining cup of cheese be added at the end?
A: Or the cheese gets sticky to the foil.
