Simple Pasta Casserole

A pasta casserole that is versatile for any basic type of meat you want to use. Includes: spam, hotdog, pepperoni, or just regular ground beef.

Serves: 4-6


1 (12 oz.) package of the pasta that you want to use
1/2 lb. bulk of Italian sausage, cooked, and drained or you can use a cans worth of fried cubed spam
1 (26 oz.) jar pasta sauce, any flavor
2 cups (8 oz.) of shredded mozzarella cheese
Chopped parsley (optional)


Cook shells as package directs; drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine cooked pasta, cooked meat, sauce, and 1 cup of cheese; mix well. Turn into lightly greased 2 1/2-quart shallow baking dish; cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes of until hot and bubbly. Uncover; top with remaining 1 cup of cheese and parsley. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese melts.

Why you should cover with foil?
