Rhubarb, Banana and Sage Crumble

The best winter cumble you can have. The sage really offsets the sharpness and makes for a tasty refreshing desert.

Ingredients

4 sticks of rhubarb
1 banana
apple juice to moisten
sugar to taste
sage leaves

crumble
4 oz plain flour
4 sugar (maybe a bit more add to taste)
2 oz butter

Method

cook the chopped rhubarb and banana together until a mushy consistency in a pan. add a little apple juice and a littel sugar to sweeten (to taste)

Place rhubarb banana mix in a baking dish

Mix together the sugar, flour and butter mix until small lumps. Place the sage leaves beneath the crumble mix and put the crumble mix on top of the rhubarb mix and cook for 20-30 minutes depending on the oven type or until the top starts to brown.
