Crab Rangoon

1/4 cup sour cream
15 oz. cream cheese
3/4 or 1 cup crab meat diced small
2 green onions diced small
1 clove garlic pressed
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 package small round or square won ton or potsticker wrappers (at Fred Meyer in produce section)
Thai sweet chili sauce for dipping
Oil for frying


Blend the sour cream, cream cheese, soy sauce and sugar until smooth.

Add the rest of the ingredients.

Scoop a teaspoon into the wonton wrapper. Fold it closed and pinch edges firmly together. You can lightly wet the edges to make them stick together better and press edges with a fork.

Recipe calls for deep frying but I just pan fried in olive oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy.

Use Thai Sweet Chili sauce for a dipping sauce.

I suggest wrapping all prior to cooking rather than doing it in batches. They cook very fast. For an appetizer, 4-5 per person?
