Preparation time: 20
Cooking time: 20-30
Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
6 normal sized taters (cubed)
1/2 stick of butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
6 strips of bacon crumbled
milk until taters are covered
1. Peel and cube your taters. Bring them to a boil and then drain the water.
2. Fry bacon. (I like to cut my bacon into chunks first and then fry) After you fry your bacon put set aside your pieces and drain all but 1 tbs of grease to saute your onions in. ( I like to use about 1/2 cup pre-chopped frozen onion. No tears!)
3. Now you have drained your taters so take all your ingredients and put them in the pot. Saving the milk for last.
4. Place on LOW heat & stir constantly to keep from burning the bottom.
Continue to heat until bubbling. Remove and serve. YUM!
