Edaname - Soy beans basically, you can find them in the freezer or organic sections in your local market. Use as many as desired.
2 tbsp of Low sodium soy sauce
Freshly minced garlic, use as much as desired to your tastes.
1 tbsp of Extra virgin olive oil
Follow directions on bag, if unavailable do as follows. In a sauce pan two cups of water and a pinch of sea salt, bring to a boil. While waiting for your water to boil mince as much garlic as you like, generally I use about two cloves. Place your garlic in a separate skillet and add your olive oil. By now your water should be boiling, add desired amount of edaname to the water cover and let it return to a boil (if using a sauce pan stir gently while water reheats) and cook for three to five minutes. About a minute before your beans are done start to heat the garlic and oil bringing them to a nice simmer. Strain beans and then add to the skillet, mixing them until well coated. Remove from pan and toss in soy sauce. Serve
If its your first time eating edaname remember, you don’t eat the pods … enjoy!
