Orange Cranberry Conserve

Ingredients

2 oranges, grate the peel and reserve the pulp
2 c water
4 c cranberries
3 c sugar
1 c raisins
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)

Method

Cook the orange pulp in the water for 20 minutes. Add cranberries, sugar, raisins, and salt. Boil rapidly to jelly (222 degrees). Add nuts if desired. Continue cooking 5 minutes. Pour into hot jars and seal.
