Difficulty: Easy - for beginners
2 cans (10.5 ounces each) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 c water
4 large carrots, thickly sliced
1 pkg (6 oz) uncooked seasoned long-grain and wild rice mix
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 8 halves)
Stir together the soup, water, carrots, rice, and seasoning packet in a 4 qt crock pot. Add the chicken. Turn to coat.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours (or high for 4 hours) until the chicken is cooked through.
