5 oz self raising flour
5 oz caster sugar
5 oz ground almonds
5 oz butter or margarine
1 egg1 tsp ground cinnamon
8 oz fresh or frozen raspberries
Mix the flour, butter, sugar, ground almonds and cinnamon in a bowl. Add the egg and mix to a sticky dough.
Press half of the mixture into a cake or flan dish. Place the raspberries on top of the mixture and then place ther remainder of the dough on top of the raspberries.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 45mins - 1 hr. Check it is cooked by inserting a knife or scewer into the centre of the torte, if the knife comes out clean its done.
Serve with cream or lemon curd yogurt.
