Swedish Meatballs

Serves: 30 small meatballs



1 Egg Beaten
¼ cup light cream
¾ cup soft bread crumbs
½ cup finely chopped onion
¼ cup parsley
1/8 teaspoon of allspice OR nutmeg
½ pound ground pork
½ pound ground beef
1 tbsp. instant coffee (optional)


2 tbsp. All purpose flour
2 Beef bouillon cubes
2 cups light cream


Mix all well in large mixing bowl

In a large skillet, on med-low heat, brown meatballs in buttered pan until brown, remove and drain on paper towels

Stir in flour and beef bouillon into drippings. Then stir in light cream, cook and stir until thickened

Add gravy and meatballs to sterno pan and finish cooking.
