Tina and Chris' chunky salsa

This is a very good salsa, not liquid like most restaurants serve - we had it every day camping this year and it was fantastic

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 can black beans drained
1 can chili beans drained
1 can kernel corn drained - the white and yellow mixed is good
1 can rotel
1 can diced tomatoes drained
1/2 cup purple onion

Optional addition I did that was good - lime and fresh cilantro.


Open all the beans and corn, drain but don't rinse just throw it in the bowl. Add the chopped onion, rotel and drained diced tomatoes. Let set to marinate all the flavors and eat with tortilla chips. Recipe can easily be doubled for a larger party. I added the juice of a lime and some fresh chopped cilantro I had and it was good too.
