Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 small can evaporated milk
2 c sugar
12 oz chocolate chips
12 large marshmallows
1/2 - 1 c nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1 tsp vanilla


in 3-qt heavy saucepan bring milk and sugar to a boil (I cook just below med/high heat). Boil for 6 minutes. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, marshmallows, nuts and vanilla. Stir until marshmallows are melted. Pour into buttered 8X8 pan.

NOTE: Doulbe recipe for 9x13 pan
