Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup cream
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla


Mix sugar with flour; blend with butter, cream, and vinegar in small vinegar in small saucepan. Heat, beating constantly, over high heat until bubbly and thickened. Add vanilla. Serve warm.
