Almond Pound Cake

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners


2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup almond paste
2/3 cup butter, soften
1 1/4 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk


Sift flour and baking powder together; set aside. Crumble almond paste into butter in large bowl; beat with electric mixer until fluffy. Add sugar gradually, mixing well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Mix in flour and milk alternatively, beating each time. Pour into well-greased 10" Bundt pan and bake for 1 hour at 325 Degrees F. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove and continue to cool on wire rack.
