HITS THE SPOT Mac and Cheese

Does one need to describe mac and cheese? But, this one is super easy and still delicious.

Difficulty: Easy - for beginners

Ingredients

3 cups elbow macaroni cooked per the package instructions
3 cups shredded cheese (I used a preshredded 4 cheese Mexican blend)
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1.5 cups milk
1/2 a polish sausage ring cut up into small pieces

Method

Melt the butter in a sauce pan
Add the flour and whisk or stir until flour is not chunky
add half the cheese and half the milk
stir until melted and smooth
add the other half of cheese and milk
stir until melted and smooth
add cooked macaroni
add polish sausage chunks (or ham or whatever you like)
salt and pepper to taste
stir to cover all of it.

dump it into a 9x11 baking dish, or a casserole baking dish or whatever you have that will hold it all and is oven safe

bake at 350 for 30 minutes

I then broiled a litle more cheese on top to make it yummier with the crispy cheese top :)
I tried bread crumbs on half of it on top to see if i like it. I think i prefered it without the bread crumbs on top.
