Fried cheese... Need I say more???

Preparation time: 20 mins
Cooking time: 25 mins

Difficulty: Medium - experience needed
Serves: 16 mozza sticks


1 pack of egg roll skins
1 pkg (300g) cooked pepperoni
8 pack mozzarella cheese strings
2-1/2 cups italian bread crumbs
4 eggs
1 cup oil (Or enough to cover pan you are cooking in)


1. Heat oil in skillet to bubbling (Turn onto medium heat)

2. Take egg roll skins out of package (Don't separate until needed, as this stops them from drying out)

3. Beat 3 eggs in bowl, and place bread crumbs in another bowl

4. Beat other egg in another bowl

5. Unwrap cheese strings and cut in half

6. Remove salami from package and cut in half

7. Lay on egg roll skin out on a cutting board, and with the one beaten egg, use a pastry brush to go around edges, and place two slices of pepperoni closest to you, one piece of cheese on the pepperoni, and roll egg roll skin over it, fold edges in, and roll all the way up, and place more egg, and seal; Do this with all of them (16 in total)

8. Dip mozza stick in egg, then into bread crumbs, then place in oil in pan, seam side down (Don't over crowd pan)

9. When golden, flip over, repeat with other side

10. Drain on paper towel & serve with pasta sauce if desired
